Tranøy Fyr invites you to a year filled with exciting activities – from guided tours and art exhibitions to kayaking, hiking and cultural highlights. Experience magnificent nature, a genuine northern Norwegian atmosphere and local food in unique surroundings!

Opening hours
The facility is open all year round for the public and accommodation.
In winter, we offer self-catering and groups can book accommodation, food and activities.
The restaurant is open daily from 09:00-21:00 in June, July and August, and from 12:00-18:00 in May and September.
In September and up to and including October 5, we serve lunch between 12-16 and dinner from 16-18. We are also happy to serve dinner after 6 pm if you have booked a table in advance.
Fyrverket is open Saturday-Sunday through October 5th.
Getting here
Tranøy Lighthouse is easily accessible via a 250 meter long bridge and parking lot.
We offer transportation and planning for air, car or boat, and have a 9-seater for local transportation needs by appointment.

You don’t need a boat to get all the way to the lighthouse.
From Bodø
- By car: approx. 3.5 hours (no ferry)
- Bus: approx. 4 hours
- Speedboat: approx. 2.5 hours to Skutvik, then approx. 40 minutes by car or bus to Tranøy Lighthouse
From Evenes
- By car: approx. 3 hours, including ferry from Lødingen to Bognes
