Guided Tour–Marine wildlife at Tranøy lighthouse

Discover the hidden ecological interactions surrounding Tranøy Lighthouse. This experience is designed for curious participants who want to get close to nature, learn about marine life, and understand how small and large species interact within an ecosystem. The tour is led by knowledgeable guides with strong expertise in natural sciences and is suitable for both adults and children.

We head down to the shoreline to explore ecological relationships, collect feed, and learn about the different roles species play in nature. Back at the lighthouse, you’ll meet the animals in the aquarium up close and take part in feeding — a unique opportunity to see how food webs function in practice.

Easy level. The tour takes place along the shoreline and at the aquarium at Tranøy Lighthouse. Dress according to weather conditions and wear waterproof footwear or waders if you have them. Equipment such as nets and buckets is provided. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Weather-dependent.
