Discover the hidden ecological interactions surrounding Tranøy Lighthouse. This experience is designed for curious participants who want to get close to nature, learn about marine life, and understand how small and large species interact within an ecosystem. The tour is led by knowledgeable guides with strong expertise in natural sciences and is suitable for both adults and children.
We head down to the shoreline to explore ecological relationships, collect feed, and learn about the different roles species play in nature. Back at the lighthouse, you’ll meet the animals in the aquarium up close and take part in feeding — a unique opportunity to see how food webs function in practice.

Practical information:
Easy level. The tour takes place along the shoreline and at the aquarium at Tranøy Lighthouse. Dress according to the weather, and wear shoes that can handle getting wet. Waders can be useful – and we have a few available if you would like to borrow a pair. Equipment such as nets and buckets is provided. If any borrowed equipment is accidentally damaged during use, it must be replaced by the participant. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Weather-dependent. .
