Tranøy Lighthouse, with its location and long history, is worth a visit. Combined with good food, drink and accommodation. In July, we offer guided tours from 10:00 to 16:00. All you have to do is buy a ticket at reception and meet up at the lighthouse steps. The rest of the year, we guide you up when needed and when we have capacity.
Ledfyret Tranøy Lighthouse is perhaps the most beautiful lighthouse on the coast. The location alone, with views of the beautiful Lofoten Wall, is worth a visit. Established in 1864 on what is known as Stangholmen. Today’s lighthouse was originally built in 1914 on Moholmen outside Kabelvåg and set up on Tranøy. At 27.3 meters, it stands out in the landscape.
Today, the lighthouse is an important cultural monument that is open to the public.
